The Department of E-transport has been created to promote the availability and use
of e-vehicles (cars, trucks, etc.).
The purpose of this website is to make information about various e-vehicles available,
so that consumers can make informed purchase decisions.
If you are aware of e-vehicles that are currently available in Australia,
or will soon become available, please contact the department with the appropriate information
so that we can help Australians aware of the growing list of options
for transport by e-vehicles.
Vehicle types
E-vehicles available in Australia now (or coming soon) include
cars (sedans, SUVs, sports cars, etc.)
commercial (delivery vans, utes, trucks and buses, both large and small.)
motor cycles (ranging from motor scooters to sports bikes.)
e-bikes (Ready for the daily ride between your outer suburbs home and the CBD office,
and your weekend on the mountain trails.)
